Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress who has been known for her roles in film including 'Quantum Solace', "The Disappearance of Alice Creed', and 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters'. Her birthplace is Gravesend within Greater London. Following her studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, she began her career by playing an actor in the comedy 'St. Trinian's'. The James Bond film Quantum of Solace that came out in the following days, she played an in-character role. It became a hit commercially and was met with moderate critiques. Then she played the lead female role in the fantasy action film "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". She was a supporter in the French film 'Orphan.' Arterton has been nominated for many awards during her career so far, one of which was she received the 'Empire Award' for the best Newcomer' for 'Quantum of Solace', and also the 'Evening Standard Theater Award' for her performance in the musical 'Made In Dagenham'. In 2011, she received the Glamour Award for the Best Woman of the year.
