Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles, born 1 February 1994 in England is an English singer-songwriter. His music career started in 2010 as a solo contestant on the British musical competition show The X Factor. After his demotion the show, he was reintroduced to be a part of the boy group One Direction. One Direction became one of the best-selling boy groups in history before being put on hiatus in 2016. Styles' self-titled solo album is out through Columbia Records in 2017. The album was released at the number one spot in both the UK and US and was also among the best-selling albums in 2017. Additionally, its first single, "Sign of the Times", topped in the UK Singles Chart. Styles' sophomore album Fine Line (2019), came in at number one on US Billboard 200. It was the most successful first week sales of any English male artist , and was also the most recent album featured in Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". Its position on the US Billboard Hot 100 was tops by the fourth track "Watermelon Sugar". Styles' third release, Harry's House (2022) was a huge success and garnered acclaim, getting the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2023. According to Billboard the album's number one single "As It was" is now the top-listened-to song all over the world. Styles has received numerous accolades, including six Brit Awards as well as three Grammy Awards. He also received his first Ivor Novello Award as well as three American Music Awards.
