Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's food provides a way to enter her mind. Food that she cooks is a source of curiosity that developed from stepping beyond the outskirts of Long Island and into the culturally diverse scene of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas have the ability to live in harmony in the menus, an assumption that has developed through the years. The only thing that remains is her unique idea of the future and still wishing to reminisce about the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately popular. The restaurant's take on traditional Italian has been acclaimed by critics as being one of the most compelling places to enjoy Italian food in Los Angeles. Lofaso is described as a neighborhood restaurant that consistently serves food that's authentic, delicious and warm. Lofaso was trained by some of the best chefs in the world and mastered their methods, yet she was not scared to challenge her own instincts. After a brief period she rose to the highest level at Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Later she worked with many famous celebrities and transformed a variety of Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. In Black Market and the business collaborations she set up, she found her place to call home. Lofaso was able to finally experience the creativity she had always wanted. Black Market is not constrained by one definitive direction and that is the intention. The course could begin with chips of dill potato, shishito chilies and then move on to the Korean food item called meatballs, and wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso evaluated her career success in part by her ability to both understand and be real to her viewers. Her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her individuality outside the kitchen, and her skills are still shining in front of cameras as a panelist on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. In 2012 Lofaso collaborated with Penguin to release"The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Cooking Ideas for Delicious home-cooked Meals and tells the story of her struggles when she was studying at the world-class French Culinary Institute, and while raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso maintains that the source of all her achievements is her kitchen. It's through this vein that she stays on the pulse. Chefletics is her brand new that is changing the way chefs dress. It combines style with functionality. Lofaso will adhere to the goals of her clients. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help achieve that.
