Audra Mcdonald is a standout in the range of her talents and versatility as an actor and singer. The winner of a record-breaking seven Tony Awards (two Grammy Awards) and an Emmy Award, McDonald was named to Time magazine's list of 100 people who are influential in the year 2015. McDonald's character in HBO production Lady Day At Emerson Bar Restaurant earned her four times an Emmy nomination in 2016. The Bite will be a 6-episode drama focusing on a deadly pandemic coproduced by Spectrum Originals, CBS Studios and Taylor Schilling in 2021. McDonald was first seen as U.S. lawyer Liz Lawrence (now Liz Reddick), in CBS's legal drama The Good Wife, in the year 2009. In the year 2018, she returned to that role in The Good Fight for Paramount+ as a series regular. She received three Critics Choice Award Nominations. McDonald guest-stars in Julian Fellowes historical drama The Gilded Age.
