Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elis Taylor is the American screen and stage actor and producer. She is best known as a film actress for her performances on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned the B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in the fields of theater, film and television. She began her acting career in theater and later appeared in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with high praise but also a number of nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Her stage credits include the Broadway show that Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career she is most famous for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a regular on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
